Today is my Convocation. My parents are with me to celebrate the determination with which I overcame drug problems and passed law school.

They announce my name. Everyone applauds. My parents crane their neck to get a better view.

I am lying on the bathroom floor, my forearm punctured, in my last attempt to celebrate.

    You know drugs are not necessarily bad – narcotics are or substance abuse is bad.
    I noticed the disclaimer as well.

      You are right there… Of course, I had to add the disclaimer when I realised I have said “law school” and was using my own Convo pics! 😉
